Biography

Ever been to a baseball game and notice someone keeping score? I don’t mean looking up at the scoreboard, I mean the lost art of scoring a game, which includes writing things down on a score sheet like E7, which means the left fielder committed an error. So why do people do this? Simply because it is fun! I do the same thing whenever I observe a good speaker delivering a presentation, except that I don’t write down E7 if the speaker makes an error. I do however chart the things I think they do well, their errors, and suggestions for improvement. I do it for two reasons, to become a better speaker myself, and simply because it is fun!

The point I want to make is that that I sincerely enjoy the art of public speaking and applying my own energy, passion, and talent to help others improve their public speaking skills. As a professional speaker of more than 15 years, I have served as an adjunct college professor who taught speech classes, been a Monster contract speaker, a corporate trainer, and delivered over a hundred presentation skills development classes to Fortune 500 companies and colleges/universities!
